New Grader Training - Saskatoon, SK - January 2020

  • CSI is offering training for new grader candidates on January 13th and 14th, 2020 in Saskatoon, SK at the Park Town Hotel, 924 Spadina Crescent East.  The training will be held all day Monday and Tuesday, starting at 8:30 am each day and running until 4 pm. Candidates will have the option to write the CFIA grader practical exam in the morning on Wednesday, January 15th.

    CSI is able to accept a maximum of 15 candidates for this training session. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, on the CSI online event registration tool. The registration deadline for this event is Friday, December 13th, 2019. Once your online registration is complete, more details regarding the training session, including the agenda and training documents, will be available to you on your personal webpage on the CSI secure website.

    A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel for this training session. If you wish to book a room, please call the hotel directly at 306-667-6068 to make your reservation and quote the group block number "286972" as your reservation group. The reserved block of rooms and the reduced room rate are only available until December 13th, 2019.

    The cost of this training session is $500 plus GST, for a total of $525.00. Payments will be accepted via credit card through the online training session registration process. This training session fee does not include the fee to write the CFIA grader practical exam. If you choose to write the exam on January 15th, contact your local CFIA office in advance to arrange payment, or bring a check made out to "Receiver General" in the amount of $95.

    AS SOON AS you register it is important that you contact Dianne Blais at the CSI office at dblais@csi-ics.com, to request a copy of the CFIA evaluation questionnaire.  You will need to complete this questionnaire if you intend to take the CFIA evaluation on Wednesday, January 15th.  It only takes a couple of minutes to complete the form.  We need to pass this information along to CFIA to help CFIA prepare the training kits and make arrangements for the CFIA practical exam, so please complete the form and email a copy to Dianne Blais as soon as possible following your registration.
