How do I get certified?

How Do I Get Certified?

Start Your Identity Preserved Opportunity Now!

To become recognized under the Canadian Identity Preserved Recognition System you must undertake the following steps:

  • Develop an identity preserved quality management system in line with the CIPRS Standard.
  • Get audited by an independent Canadian Grain Commission-accredited auditor, such as one from the Canadian Seed Institute, who will submit an audit report to the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC).
  • Await the CGC review of the audit report and decision on certification.
  • If the review is successful, your company’s program will be certified.

Once you are certified, use the Canadian Identity Preserved Recognition System mark to show your customers you have met the Standard.

Tools

There are many resources available to you to help you on your way, including an informational brochure and copies of the Standard. As well, useful tools to successfully implement the program include templates of suggested key forms and documentation, plus a guidance document to help implement the Standard.
