On April 12, 2018, the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) published the latest revisions to CAN/CGSB-32.310:2015 – Organic Production Systems: General Principles and Management Standards and CAN/CGSB-32.311:2015 – Organic Production Systems: Permitted Substances Lists (PSL). These revisions were proposed and agreed upon by the CGSB Technical committee to address some gaps identified in the version of the standard published in November 2015. 

Changes were made to a few sections of the standard and PSL. For a summary of the amendments produced by the Organic Federation of Canada, please click here. Please update your electronic bookmarks or print the revised versions of the standard and PSL. Operators certified to the previous version of the standards and PSL (last amended in November 2015) have 12 months from the date of publication of this new version to implement any changes to their management practices as required by the amendments to the standard and PSL.
