Organic New Processor Applicant

All new CSI organic processor clients need to complete this form.

If you are applying for recertification, then you need to resubmit this form if you have made changes to the information required in the organic system plan. Please note that if you have incorporated your organic system plan into a quality manual, then you will need to submit the current version of your quality manual.

This form needs to be completed by organic producers if GM varieties are available in Canada for the conventional seed approved for planting. For example, there are genetically modified corn hibreds and soybeans varieties being grown in Canada.

This form also needs to be completed by processors if non-organic agricultural ingredients, food additives or processing aids are being used and there is a possibility that GM or GE materials may have been used in producing the ingredient, food additive or processing aid.

If you are applying for recertification, then you need to resubmit this form if you updated the supplier list from the previous application.
