As of April 2, the Centre for Systems Integration (CSI) has received accreditation from the National Organic Program (NOP) under the United States Department of Agriculture. This means if you plan to access the US market, we can manage your organic NOP handler certification – required by the Strengthening Organic Enforcement rule – in addition to your certification under the Canadian Organic Regime.

You can expect the same kind of responsive, timely and reasonably priced certification services you have come to expect, conveniently provided by one certifying body. No need for multiple inspection visits. 
Not sure if you need NOP certification? You do if:

• You are part of the organic trade supply chain, including but not limited to importing organic products into the US while acting as the importer of record.
• You market organic products in the US.
• You trade organic products certified to the USDA NOP that do not enter Canada. 
• You handle organic products in Canada that are outside the scope of the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (EG: natural health products, cosmetics, pet food).
